A letter to my mentor

Hello Qais,

This is directed towards you, with mixed feelings,

You might not be here but I look up to you, towards you in search of my queries,

And I am sure as always you will have the answers to all of this,

The reason being the real you, the experienced you, and the managerial you!

As I start my second innings at office soon, I am all full of nervousness and unknown fears,

I am all apprehensive about the professional me and the personal me,

With all do’s and don’ts coming at the same tenure.

Guide me through the clueless questions; help me sail successfully through the many unknowns,

Show me the path to regain my confidence, direct me towards boosting my morale,

I know you have the magic wand and you can do this for each of your teammate(Qais_Team).

I write this to you as I know it wouldn’t be so easy for an individual like me,

Who consistently needs a mentor like you, or a team lead like Anamika and Pravin,

Who can read her even before she comes out of her shell,

Help me come out of numerous ‘What if… questions’ and just do justice to all my work.
