Dear Daughter

Dear daughter, this is for you, as I may or may not be always be with you,
These are a few things few words which my father told to me and now I shall pass them to you,
As you grow older, you will realize this world is not exactly it seems to be,
Survival of the fittest stands true to this large and varied world.

It’s good to be good to others, but you must first learn to identify who deserves your goodness in true sense,
For this, the first step is to connect to your real self every day to identify and listen to your soul’s voice, which is your true guide,
It is good to make mistakes and learn from your experience, but it is always better to be prepared for any out of the place issue,
All of it will eventually make you a person who doesn’t get carried away by what others say, but applies her own mind and acts accordingly.

This world is a weird place and to live here happily and successfully is not everyone’s cup of tea,
You must be emotional, but not sensitive, helpful but not generous, honest but at the same time smart enough to assess everything,
Everyday you will get to meet people of all sorts, use your instinct during the interaction to recognize them and then connect with them,
You must learn to say a big ‘no’ at times, and a big ‘yes’ to someone who is hesitant to ask your help but really needs it,
I am sure you will do this, and never let take anyone take advantage of you,
May God bless you and guide you always.
